Stan Berry – owner

Berry Patch Fire and Safety Training started in 1999 teaching First Aid and firefighting. In 2004, we became involved in developing safety programs and writing Safety Manuals for a variety of clients. In 2008, the company expanded its repertoire to a wide range of safety related courses. Our courses are provided via contract instruction and instruction to the general public. Berry Patch Fire and Safety Training became a limited company in 2012 continuing to provide quality instruction and safety consulting to industry and the fire service. The company also works under a Medical Director providing First Aid coverage for various events on a volunteer basis.

Stan is NFPA 1041 Fire Services Instructor and NFPA 1035 Public Fire and Life Safety Educator certified, holding IFSAC and ProBoard seals as well as a Red Cross First Aid Instructor and Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive Instructor. He is an Alberta College of Paramedics registered Primary Care Paramedic (PCP/EMT). In December of 2012 Stan achieved the CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) designation.

Stan’s career started in 1970 and he now has a wide range of experience from construction to urban, rural, and industrial firefighting,
